Where did the name Red Rhino come from?
The name may have come from a translation of an Afrikaans word for clay which refers to the fact that the first such rhinos seen by Europeans were found wallowing in red-coloured mud. Hence the name the Red Rhino.

The Red Rhino was highly sought after by big game hunters as a symbol of success and excellence in strategy. Solitary and clever the Red Rhino eludes the common traveler who is seeking to capture their prized image. Today the Red Rhino is extremely rare and can only be found in London Ontario where a group of creative people made up the name and this story in the name of great branding.
